At the time that I am writing this post, Arlington Heights Art Guild’s 54th Annual ‘A WALK IN THE PARK’ Fine Arts and Crafts Show that takes place at North School Park in Arlington Heights, IL, is only three weeks away, and I have been very busy preparing for this exciting event!! It will actually be my fourth time having my art on display there, and this event was my very first art show that I took part in back in August of 2022!! Sadly, this will probably be the very last time that I will be taking part in it due to the fact that two of my dear sisters, who have been so kind and helpful to assist me in setting up and taking down my tent and helping me set up all of my artwork and pack it up again, are now dealing with some health issues. So, Lord willing, starting next year I will be searching for indoor art fairs that I can do on my own and allow my sisters to get the rest they need –and deserve!
‘A WALK IN THE PARK’ is a very highly attended art fair, and this year there will be 80 vendors taking part in it!! Admission is free and so is parking!! There will be live music (guitarist, Jack Wilson), as well as food trucks and live art demos!!
For the first time this year I will be showing almost my whole new line of Contemporary Textured Acrylic Art at North School Park!! All of the paint pouring art that I will have on display there will all be priced at 20% off of the original prices!
- Nature photography prints
- Framed nature photos
- Fluid art paintings in various sizes, now on sale for 20% off the regular price (in order to make room for my new series of contemporary textured acrylic paintings).
- Jewelry created using discs of dried non-toxic acrylic paint left over from the fluid acrylic paintings that I made: stainless steel earrings, bracelets, pendants which come with stainless steel chains that feature sturdy lobster claw clasps, and I also have many jewelry sets that consist of a metal bangle bracelet, pendant with stainless steel chain, and stainless steel earrings.
- Crystal teardrop sun-catchers featuring a genuine crystal and beads made of glass, metal, acrylic, and some with volcanic rocks, shells, and gemstones.
- My new line of Contemporary Textured Acrylic Art paintings in larger sizes for those looking for something to hang over their couch or bed, etc.., and in smaller sizes for a little girl’s room, empty corners, and small spaces. Here’s a short video to give you a sneak peek at them:
I will be at BOOTH #30, which is the same booth that I have been at since I started putting my art on display there!!
