ART FAIR SCHEDULE 2025 – AND TWO ANNOUNCEMENTS

Two of my dear sisters and my kind, helpful daughter have been amazing to assist me on my art journey since August of 2022. However, due to some health issues that my sisters are dealing with, this will probably be the final year that I will be  taking part in outdoor art fairs because there’s no way that I can put up my tent on my own. Therefore, I will begin venturing out on my own looking for indoor art fairs in the vicinity to take part in during the following years.

In order to make room for my new collections of acrylic paintings, I will be offering most of my acrylic fluid art paintings at 20% off on the first day of the art fairs at Prairie Center! So if you live in the area, and you are interested in purchasing any of them, come early on Saturday to choose your favorite paintings before they all (hopefully) sell out! Here is a slideshow that features some of the 43 paintings that will be marked down to 20% off:

Also, consider stopping by Prairie Center on Sunday, May 25th, because I will be displaying some of my new acrylic paintings that were not created by my usual paint pouring technique. Instead, I have started creating contemporary acrylic paintings using a brush or other art tools. Some of them I began by forming a base layer of textured gesso or modeling paste to which I then painted and added sand, seashells, glass stones, glitter, etc., all with the intention of making each painting as unique and as one-of-a-kind as the ones that I created using the paint pouring method.

Here is a list of the art fairs that, Lord willing, I will be taking part in this year –2025:

The Empty Corner – May 16th until mid-June I will have two of my paintings on exhibit, along with many other local artists, for The Empty Corner’s event, ‘100 Under $100.’  Address: 214 E. Grove Street Arlington Heights, IL
