It truly stuns me to realize that many deny the existence of God when so much evidence of a Creator can be seen all around us: The magnificence of the moon and the stars, the beauty of a sunrise and sunset, the amazing colors that can be seen in flowers, butterflies, and birds, the way our human bodies function…the list could go on and on! Truly man is without excuse as it says in Romans 1:18-20:
“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.”
God’s love for us is also evident not only through the beautiful things that He has created for our enjoyment, but also — and most importantly — He shows us His love through the one and only way that He has provided for us as sinners to have a relationship with Him — a completely loving and merciful, but just and Holy God — through His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, who was and is God in the flesh.
“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless,, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom we have received reconciliation.” (Romans 5:6-11)
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (1 John 4:9,10)

INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PHOTO
I captured this crescent moon photo with my Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70 in manual focus and handheld (make sure you go into the menu and turn on the in body stabilization). I was thrilled at the quality and detail of this image considering the small sensor size, and love so many features that this camera has: great rubberized grip, in body stabilization, in camera focus stacking, cropping, 4K video, 4K photo, post focus, time lapse video, and SO much more!! Although I love my Sony A6000, I highly recommend this solid, well built camera for travel! It is not the best in low light conditions, however, but captures beautiful high quality photos in good lighting situations.
