GRACEFUL PINK HIBISCUS

This summer has been challenging for every single one of us –no matter where in this world you may live!

Besides resting in the fact that God is in control and reading His Word for strength, peace, and grace, I have been enjoying going for walks and capturing the intricate details and beauty of flowers with my Sony A6000 from many different angles and perspectives. The equipment that I used to capture this image is my Sony A6000 along with my Sony 30mm macro lens which was set at f3.5, and Sony tripod with remote — VCT VPR1.

This hibiscus with its swirled edges gives a sense of grace and calmness, and I chose Joshua 1:9 to go along with the serene mood of this image in order to point you to the Lord in the midst of these troublesome circumstances that we are all dealing with. The truth is that in the midst of these chaotic times that we find ourselves in, our only true hope can be found in Jesus Christ alone not only for the forgiveness of sins, but also for peace, wisdom, and strength to face life –one day at a time.

I encourage you to read God’s Word, the Bible, starting in the Gospel of John, the Book of Romans, as well as the Epistles of 1,2, and 3 John. As you read God’s Word you will come to understand our sinfulness in the sight of a thrice holy God and the truly good news of the Biblical gospel, which is that Jesus Christ, God wrapped in human flesh, willingly came into our sin-filled world to live the perfect, sinless life that we could never live to become the perfect Lamb of God who would take away our sins. Jesus Christ died on the cross in our place taking upon Himself the full wrath of God that we deserve for our sins. He died, was buried, and three days later he arose from the dead in bodily form showing that God the Father accepted His once for all sacrifice on the cross as being sufficient to satisfy His wrath and His just demands for sin. Now we can be clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ when we die and stand before Him —if we choose to believe this gospel message that is presented to us in His Word and place our trust only in all that Jesus Christ has already accomplished for us instead of wrongly placing our trust in our good works or our religion to save us. We then obey to show our love and gratitude to God for all that He did to provide the only way for us to have a relationship with Him and to remove the barrier of sin that separates us from Him. But we must each make the choice to believe and to receive Jesus Christ and this truly good news of the Biblical gospel, and I truly pray that you will!
