BLUE MOON RISING

On October 31st many of us were able to view the second full moon for this month, which is called a blue moon. Almost every time that I have taken pictures of the moon I have simply focused on the moon itself. However, that night there were many wispy white clouds and it made a lovely backdrop as the blue moon began to emerge above the horizon amidst the branches of the tree in front of my kitchen window.

Lord willing, I am hoping to one day get the Sony 70-350mm lens, but these pictures were simply captured with my Sony A6000 and my Sony 55-210mm lens at 210mm focal length and also by using clear image zoom.
