As I was going for a brisk walk recently, I was led to take a different path than I normally take. As I walked past the lake where I had only seen geese once last winter, my eyes beheld a beautiful sight that filled my heart with thanks and praise to the Lord, and caused my eyes to fill with bittersweet tears and tears of joy, as well. Swans!! Bittersweet tears, because my dear sister who died this past January loved swans even more than I do. Tears of  joy, because now I can see swans more often than I was able to before this beautiful blessing from God!
