My daughter was so sweet and thoughtful to send me these gorgeous tulips in white and shades of purple (my favorite color). When she was little we would wait with eager expectation for the beautiful tulips that were planted next to our house to begin to bloom showing evidence that spring had finally arrived! Now that she is grown and on her own she sent them to me as a reminder of the many special memories we had together as she was growing up, and also to try and add a little happiness to my day because it has now been a year since my sweet Mom died. Life just isn’t the same after you lose someone as special as a Mom, especially if you were blessed to have had a Mom as special as mine was.
As I basically said to you in a previous post: What happens when you love photography and flowers and someone gives you a bouquet of beautiful flowers? You take lots of pictures, that’s what! And that is precisely what I did! The above slideshow features just a few of the many pictures that I took of these beautiful tulips from my daughter, Tammy. They were taken with my Sony A6000 and my Sony 30mm f3.5 macro lens which was mounted on my Sony tripod with detachable remote control.
Thank you very much for stopping by today.
God Bless You
