When I saw bleeding heart flowers for the first time many years ago, my eyes welled up with tears because I was struck, once again, by the creative beauty of our living God! To see heart-shaped flowers that open up to reveal something that resembles a drop coming forth was simply breath-takingly beautiful! How can anyone doubt the reality of God when they see so much evidence all around them: the stars and the moon at night, the beauty of a sunrise or sunset over a lake or ocean, and His astounding masterpiece –the human body — with all its intricate and amazing parts that should silence the doubts of every single skeptic!
No matter what the season, take time to look at all the beauty that surrounds you. If you happen to be one of the many skeptics out there, please get yourself a Bible and begin reading in the Gospel of John and seek Him and the truth that can be found in His Word. I know that many of you may have been devastated by a tragic incident that may have caused one or more of your loved one to die, or you may have an illness, lost a precious child, or you may have been sexually abused, abandoned by your spouse –the list could go on and on. Death, depravity, sickness, selfishness, rejection, betrayal, etc., are all the result of the fall of mankind. Adam and Eve were placed in a perfect world that became cursed and corrupt all because they chose to sin; they failed to follow that one command of God not to eat the fruit of that one tree. But God, already knowing the choice that they would both end up making, had a plan from before the foundations of the world to make a way for mankind to once again be able to have a relationship with Him. That one and only way was to send His only begotten Son into the world to live the perfect, sinless life that we could never live, so that He would become the perfect Lamb of God who would die in our place and take away the sins of the world. Jesus Christ allowed God His Father to pour out His full wrath — wrath that we rightfully deserve for all of our sins — upon Him instead of upon us so that we could then be clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ –if we choose to place our trust in all that Jesus did for us and not in our own attempts and efforts to live a good life. God accepted Jesus’ death as being sufficient to pay for every single sin we may have committed — no matter how evil and vial it was or may be! He demonstrated this by raising Jesus Christ from the dead.
“He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:25)
Please place your trust in Jesus Christ today! Believe this good news of the Biblical gospel! You will have true joy that will carry you through the darkest days of your life, His peace that surpasses all human understanding, His strength will be made perfect in your weakness, He will give you His wisdom to deal with all the problems life may bring as you seek Him in His Word, and His grace will be sufficient to help you in the midst of every trial that you may face. I speak from experience.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16,17)
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (1 John 4:9,10)
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Romans 1:16-32)
“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt; their acts are vile. There is no one who does good.” (Psalm 14:1)
“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:12-17)
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” (John 14:6)
“Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:10-12)
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” (1 Timothy 2:5)
“Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.” (1 Peter 1:17-21)
“The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.” (Revelation 13:5-8)
