Well, I totally enjoyed taking part in my very first art exhibit on August 28th at the Fine Arts Fair at North School Park in Arlington Heights, IL where I sold three of my paintings, some of my crystal tear drop sun catchers, and some of the necklaces that I had made from the non-toxic paint that was left over from some of my paintings! It was so nice to not only meet and to interact with the many people who came to the art show that day, but also it was nice to get to meet and to talk with some of the other artists that took part in the art show! Lord willing, I will be taking part in the art show there again next year at the same booth –#30!
Now I am preparing for my second art exhibit that will take place at the High School that my children attended many years ago! This Holiday Gift And Craft Fair is highly publicized so there should be a great turnout for this event, as well!
Some women that I had met at the last art show expressed a desire for crystal teardrop sun catchers in shades of true blue and necklaces in shades of pink, so I made some of both with them in mind, as well as for others who love blues and pinks!
In addition to making more unique crystal teardrop sun catchers, I will also be featuring some smaller, less expensive, crystal teardrop sun catchers for young girls because my sister had overheard some girls asking their moms if they could get one, and their moms seemed rather hesitant to spend $20.00 to purchase one for them.
For those of you who live in the Chicago area and are planning to attend the Holiday Gift And Craft Fair at Prospect High School, please stop by my booth and say, “Hi,” and check out my photography prints, one-of-a-kind acrylic fluid art paintings (no two are ever alike; they can never be duplicated), crystal teardrop sun catchers, and necklaces featuring stainless steel chains! (As soon as they send us our Booth Number and any further information, I will update this post with that information). Maybe you will find the perfect thing at my booth for that special someone on your gift-giving list this Christmas Holiday season!
Here is a Slideshow of just some of the many things that you will see at my booth:
Thank you very much for stopping by today!
God Bless You
